Our work together will start with getting comfortable and ensuring a space of safety and openness. You will be treated with compassion and understanding as well as encouragement for the steps you are taking even if they feel small.
Together we will identify problem areas to address, define specific goals, and develop your treatment plan to keep you accountable towards reaching those goals. We will learn skills to assist with emotion management, tolerating stressful situations and relationships and being present in the moment.
We will focus on fostering understanding, acceptance, and adaptive coping strategies. I emphasize the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment for exploration and growth while empowering you to develop healthier relationships with themselves and others.
DBT
Learn how to be more present in the moment, how to handle stressful situations, create more positivity in your life, and improve your relationships.
EMDR
Use alternative techniques to manage distressing emotions without reliving all of the painful details of your experience with fewer sessions and faster relief than traditional therapy.
COUPLES
Develop communication skills, learn how to really hear each other, how to respond when frustrated, and learn to problem solve with your partner.
